- 4 cups of cherries
- cobbler crust or biscuit
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
Preheat an oven to 400 F. Make a favourite cobbler Crust or biscuit recipe. Pit and stem about 4 cups of cherries. Put in a bowl, and toss with 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar. Put the cherries in a buttered baking dish, top with the crust and bake for about 20 minutes or until the crust is lightly golden and the juice is bubbling around the edges. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
