Curried Almonds


  • 2 Tbspns butter
  • 2 cups whole almonds, blanched
  • ½ Tbspn of curry paste (sold in the Asian section of your grocery store)
  • Sea salt


*These nuts will soften slightly because of their tasty coating. They are delicious at any event.

In a 9 x 9 inch pan, melt the butter. Add the almonds and stir to coat well. Bake in a preheated oven at 300 F for about 35 minutes, stirring 3 or 4 times. Add the curry paste and the sea salt. Toss to coat well. Turn out onto waxed paper to cool. Store almonds in an airtight container. Makes 2 cups.
