
- 4 cups fresh pluots, chopped
- 1 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 cup water

In a heavy saucepan, mix all ingredients together. Cook over medium to low heat and let simmer, stirring often. A syrupy consistency will develop. Adjust water and sweetener. Pour sauce into a glass bowl and cover and refrigerate. This sauce is excellent served over ice cream, yogurt, waffles, muffins and ice cream. Note: this sauce stores well in the refrigerator for up to two weeks in a sealer jar.
