Delicious Meal Ideas
Ingredients
  • 1 pound of green beans
  • 1 pound of fresh shelling peas
  • 1/2 pound of snow peas
  • 1 sprig of fresh savory
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 Tbspn of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable stock or water
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions

Wash the vegetables and savory. Shell the peas and set aside. Peel and thinly slice the onion. Heat the olive oil in a medium to large skillet and sauté the onions until they are translucent. Add the beans and shelled peas and sauté briefly. Add the water or vegetable stock and the savory. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes on medium to low heat. Add the snow peas. When all are cooked, the liquid should be fully absorbed by the vegetables. If not, remove the lid and allow the liquid to evapourate. Remove the savory and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss and serve with potatoes or rice. Serves 4.
